Chris Dekerf builds frames out either Steel, Stainless steel, or Titanium. Most of the tubing is sourced from Reynolds in England with whom the company has a long standing and special relationship. Some of the tubes are even custom made by Reynolds for use only in Dekerf frames. We use various butted and non-butted tubes in both steel and titanium depending on the frame design. We also machine tubing in house to create specific sizes and wall thickness otherwise not offered commercially. All titanium is US made.

Other frame parts such as drop-outs, shells, and various small parts are purchased from various select vendors around the world. And if we can’t find exactly what we need, (things like head tubes and seat collars) we often simply make these parts in our own machine shop instead.

At the end of the day this means Dekerf frames are made from the world’s best materials. Striking the perfect balance of strength and weight, and never compromising on quality.
